Mozeo MoPho is ALIVE!

Powering Mobile Photography

After several long days, nights, weeks, and cups of coffee, our engineering team has completed our much anticipated service MoPho.  We officially released it into BETA on July 17, 2008, and have already seen a great response.

Let’s quickly chat about MoPho.  Powering mobile photography is cool and all, but what makes this service POP, well here it is:

1.) SEND AND RECEIVE - Send your picture messages to go@mozeo.com, and they instantly get posted to your profile.  When you login, you will see the new MoPho tab, this is where all your pictures will be stored.  The best part is, we built in a manage function for each photo. You have the power to send picture messages to any mobile phone you want, the power to e-mail your photos, and the power to print your photos.

2.) SHARING IS CARING - With MoPho we built in sharing to phone, and e-mail, and to top it all off we even built a MoPho Facebook application.  So now any photo you send to MoPho is ready for sharing, and will instantly post to your facebook profile for all your friends to see.

3.) NO LIMITS - It really sucks when your about to snap a great photo on your phone and all of a sudden you get a message that says YOU’VE EXCEEDED THE LIMIT.  With MoPho you never have to worry about space again.  Your photos are stored with Mozeo, and you finally have the freedom to snap away!

Mozeo Wins Developers Challege!

The Mozeo Mobile Wall recently won the developers challenge on facebook.  Sponsored by AT&T, the developers challenge was put together to find the best mobile application on facebook.  Our application allows friends to text each other directly from their profile page. When they hit send, the person will receive the text message and it will be posted on their Mozeo Mobile Wall for everyone to see.

Mozeo for Sports

We always love to highlight the fun ways people use Mozeo. With more people getting outdoors and having fun, we wanted to highlight a couple sports teams who are lovin’ Mozeo!

Our friends over at Zero Gravity Volleyball (Zero Gravity Link) are using our Mozeo GoGroup service to improve communications within the club. They said no more emails, no more phone calls that go through a ten person chain, we’re going to text it right to their hands! So there you have it, a group that has their stuff together!

As the softball season kicks off we wanted to highlight the ROCKETS. The rockets are using our Mozeo GoGroup service to instantly send the entire team a text message about practices, game changes, and what bar they will be drinking at after the game. Text messages, beer, softball…now thats what its all about! Have a great season!

Go Go GoGroups…

Over the past few weeks we have seen tremendous growth in our GoGroup service. We wanted to give everyone some simple tips for GoGroups.

As you all know, the best way to start a GoGroup is to log into Mozeo, and click on the My GoGroups tab. You will see the link to create a group, simply enter the name you want, and invite some friends to join you. (You do have the option to add more later)

Some Tips:

• Your friends can join your group right from their mobile phone by texting JOIN YOURGROUPNAME to go@mozeo.com anytime, anywhere.
• You can view every message sent by your group by logging in to Mozeo and reading your Mobile Blog for your group.
• Sitting at your computer? Log in to Mozeo and blast a text message to your group right from our site. FREE
• On the run? Create a new text message to go@mozeo.com and type GO YOURGROUPNAME YOURMESSAGEC
• Create multiple groups for different reasons, and different friends…you can create as many as you want!

We really love all the great ways people use Mozeo. We took a special interest in our latest group: The Oswego, NY SWAT Team. Using our Mozeo GoGroup service, the dispatch center logs into Mozeo and blasts a group text message to all of the SWAT team members.
